As an office worker, I actually feel guilty when I slack off too much.
I'm in the programming industry, and occasionally I do have some slack time, such as when requirements haven't been given to me yet, there might be a few days with not much to do, just some miscellaneous tasks and handling small issues.
But when I occasionally pass by other people's workstations in the company, I actually find that many people have free time to slack off.
For example, HR personnel, front desk girls, some assistants, and even designers often have plenty of time to rest, play with their phones, and browse videos.
Slacking off at work seems to be the norm.
I actually feel guilty about this state 😭
It must be my conscience at work!
It feels like the boss is paying me a salary, but I'm not working 😭 Really sorry
But there's nothing I can do. Sometimes there really isn't much work given to me, and I can only handle some miscellaneous tasks.
